It’s been a long time since I’ve published on this platform. But I’m feeling the need to write because, collectively, we’re going through a lot, and it seems we have more to go. I’m asking the Universe, Source, our angels, and our guides for help in witnessing and navigating an environment where many of the causes, institutions, and structures we care about or have relied upon are being dismantled, rearranged, or cast aside; an environment where what used to be a given is no longer recognizable or reliable.
These structures were never perfect and didn’t serve all equally, but they did reflect our overarching intentions to continually strive to do better. What is taking shape now looks to be reflective of different intentions.
Intentions are a source of energy. Nothing becomes physical without energy devoted to it. The word, devoted, is rooted in Latin, where many of our words come from, and means dedication by a vow. In the past this vow was typically religious in nature.
But we can be devoted in ways other than through formal religion. We can be devoted to our children, our vocation, our creativity, our planet, mankind, our future, our legacies. We understand devotion to arise out of love.
To be devoted is to intend love. Devotion is the energy with which love is made manifest and shows up in our physical reality.
So, in these times, I’m reminding myself to rededicate myself to the energy of devotion. I am choosing to intend love in my thoughts and in my actions; to be devoted to the energy that makes love manifest and a physical reality. May we transform through grace, wisdom, and mercy. May love be manifest in our times.
